With roots in hiphop and street culture, Xclusiv Company brings urban dance to the theatre. The Rotterdam-based company combines powerful choreography with spoken word, singing, electronic soundscapes, and visuals. Their performances are energetic, personal, and socially engaged.

In Nature’s Call, the group shows how humans, cities, and nature fall out of balance—and how that balance can be found again.

Our world is under pressure. Life is speeding up, cities are growing, digital flows are increasing, and the climate is changing. We move along, but not always in the same rhythm. The way we live affects the world around us—not only nature, but also our relationships with each other. When we can no longer hear or feel each other, the connection is lost. And when something is out of balance, it loses its rhythm.

In Nature’s Call, the dancers react to their environment and also influence it. Strong group choreography is alternated with quiet solos and duets, where personal stories grow into a universal message.
